5-Step Sideload Guide

    Enable Unknown Sources

    On your Android device, navigate to Settings → Security (or Apps & Notifications → Special App Access) and enable Install Unknown Apps for your browser.

    Download the APK

    Tap the Download Android APK (Direct) button above. The file will save to your Downloads folder as zerotext-latest.apk.

    Verify Checksum (Recommended)

    Before installing, verify the file integrity using the SHA-256 checksum above. See the Verification section below.

    Open & Install

    Open your file manager or notification tray, tap the downloaded APK, and follow the Android install prompts. Takes under 30 seconds.

    Generate Your ZeroText PIN

    Launch ZeroText, generate your BIP-39 seed phrase, and receive your unique ZeroText PIN. No phone number ever required.

Cryptographic Verification

Verify the APK has not been tampered with using the SHA-256 checksum. Run this command on Linux/macOS:
